Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy with me is designed for individuals who feel held back by painful memories, traumatic experiences, anxiety, or negative beliefs that continue to affect their daily lives. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation—such as eye movements, tapping, or alternating sounds—to help the brain process distressing experiences in a way that reduces their emotional intensity and lasting impact.
I use EMDR to support individuals experiencing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, panic, phobias, grief, and long-standing patterns of self-doubt or emotional distress. Treatment follows a structured process that begins with building trust, developing coping skills, and establishing a sense of safety before moving into memory reprocessing at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable.
Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR focuses on helping the brain heal from past experiences rather than repeatedly revisiting them. As treatment progresses, many clients find that difficult memories feel less overwhelming, triggers become less disruptive, and negative beliefs begin to shift toward healthier, more empowering perspectives. The goal is not to erase the past, but to help you move forward with greater freedom, confidence, and peace of mind.
